The candidates must fulfill the NEET UG Eligibility Criteria 2023, if they wish to appear for the exam. The candidates must ensure their eligibility criteria for NEET UG before they fill out the application form.
Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG
1. Nationality:
- Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for the exam.
- NRIs, OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are also eligible to appear for the exam.
2. Age Criteria
- Candidates must have completed 17 years of age before December 31, 2023.
- The upper age limit will be 25 years for candidates belonging to general category and 30 years for the candidates belonging to the OBC/ SC/ ST/ PH categories.
3. Educational Qualification
- Class 10+2 in PCB and English from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category candidates.
- Reserved category candidates can apply for the exam with 40% marks in PCB. (45% for PWD and 40% for OBC/SC/ST)
